We went to a cold brew event that was the closest thing we've ever seen to a latte art competition for cold brew. It was called the Scrumdiddlyumptious Signature Cold Brew Mocktail Event Contest and was put on by Synesso and a ton of other great companies.
The event featured dozens of competitors, competing 12 at a time to make signature cold brew mocktails from a massive "pantry" of available ingredients. Each round was judged and the winners went on the complete for a huge prize pool. We wanted to share the details of this event and give credit to the creators and hosts:
On a scale of 1-10, (1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest) competitors will be judged on the following:
Knowledge of the rules: Is the correct amount of liquid used for each drink?
Preparation: What skills/techniques were used to prepare the beverage?
Presentation: Short explanation to the judges regarding the created drink and the physical presentation of the drink (garnish, cleanliness).
Balance of Flavor/Taste: How well do the variety of ingredients work together?
Inventiveness: The creativity of the drink
Use of Ingredients: Were all required ingredients used?

Time: Was the drink created and presented to the judges in the allotted time? Total time of drink preparation.
